Large Dorothy Thorpe Etched Glass and Lucite Tray

Dorothy Thorpe designed and manufactured this ”Bird of Paradise” tray at her Glendale, CA company in the 1940’s. The glass design was produced by a five layered etching process, unique to Dorothy Thorpe. It is signed with the “DTD” logo. The handles are clear lucite as are the four feet. This tray is in excellent condition
