Streamline pair of wall sconces fron the ocean liner, the S.S. United States. Socket is hard wired, but call buttons are decorative. Requires an incandescent tubular bulb up to 60 watts. Ths all aluminum luxary liner was built in 1952 for United States Lines. It was designed by American naval architect William Francis Gibbs to capture the trans-Atlantic speed record.
