Bauhaus Lamp by Marianne Brandt for Kandem

This is the Rare Nickel version of the Model 702E lamp the bottom.  It was designed by Marianne Brandt in the Bahaus and produced by Kamden in 1928. This lamp was designed to sit on a table but also has a notch on that allows it to hang on the wall. Both ways, it adjusts in several positions, left to right and up and down. Marianne Brandt was only woman that studied in the metal department of the Bauhaus under Maholy-Nagy. When the Bahaus moved to Dessau, Marianne Brandt designed the lighting for the new building.
