Historic Art Deco Radiator Grills by Jock Peters for Bullocks Wilshire
Historic original pair of radiator grills designed by head designer Jock Peters for the Mens Dept. of the Bullocks Wilshire Dept. Store, Los Angeles in 1929. This pair of radiator grills were unique to the Bullocks. There are no others in existence. They are made of rare walnut with steel accent trim and a concealed door to access the radiator in the wall. The Bullocks Wilshire is considered by many historians to be the finest Art Deco masterpiece ever created in Los Angeles. One of this pair of radiator grills is pictured under a wall mounted light, in the book, “Bullocks Wilshire” by Margaret L. Davis on page 57. Measurements are for each piece.
