Los Castillo Married Metals Tray

This serving tray was created by Los Castillo in the 1950’s. Chato Castillo invented the technique they called “Married Metals” which is a way of joining copper, sliver, alpaca, and brass to form one surface. They created bowls, cups , trays, etc. using this technique. This is one of the largest pieces that they made.
