Minimalist Brass Wall Sconce by Kurt Versen
This minimalist wall sconces retains it’s original finish, with the brass of the bowl having a beautiful warm patina. The Kurt Versen manufacturing stamp is molded into the back of this minimalist brass wall sconce. This minimalist sconce can be also used for downward lighting. Kurt Versen was born in Sweeden and studied in Germany at the Polytech School. An avid modernist, he participated in 4 of the major US Expositions of the 1930’s and the1937 Paris Expo. He continued to participate in Good Design exhibits through the 1940’s and 1950’s, winning several citations along the way. Many of his designs are in the collections of the 20th Century Design Depts. of major museums
