Rare Margot de Taxco Art Deco Enamel Bracelet with Stones

This sterling silver bracelet is an outstanding example of Margot de Taxco’s enamel work. It is very rare to see her enamel work accompanied by stones. It is in excellent condition with no damage what so ever. The clasp works as it should and it retains it’s original safety chain. The bracelet is signed with the Margot de Taxco markings. Margot Van Voovhies Carr, an American from San Francisco moved to Taxco in 1937, married the silver designer, Antonio Castillo and began creating her own jewelry designs. After their divorce, she opened her own atelier, Margot de Taxco and remained in Taxco designing and producing until her death.
