Wonderful Pair of Spratling Dot Candle Holders in Ebony & Sterling

These highly desirable candle holders were designed by William Spratling. They are hand made from ebony and sterling silver. William Spratling’s unique blending of traditional Mexican Colonial and Pre-Columbian designs with modern forms have created a place for him amongst the Masters of 20th Century Modern Silver world wide. Numerous books have been written either by or about him and he was the subject of the film, “The Man From New Orleans”, in 1948.
