Original 1939 Dooling Bros. Mercury Tethered Racing Car

This is an original tethered racing car from 1939 manufactured by Dooling Bros. It is “The Mercury” second series with the rare front wheel drive. The original owner raced it on the track at the 1939 NY World’s Fair. His family kept it in a case and the upholstery and tires are in great shape. It has it’s motor, gas tank and shut off antena.
